Zaharni Zavodi JSC is one of the biggest companies in Bulgaria producing sugar, sugar confectionery, packages and last but not least ethyl alcohol. The company is founded 1912 and has a huge experience, enormous production potential and a great variety of products. The main activities that we are developing are:

sugar and confectionery production;

production of ethyl alcohol;

packages;

repair of machines for the sugar industry;

production of electricity and steam by our own Power Plant

The production of ethyl alcohol is the most important part of all our activities. Our Distillery Plant is a part of the holding Zaharni Zavodi JSC, Gorna Oryahovitza, Bulgaria.

We are the biggest producer of ethyl alcohol on the territory of Bulgaria. The ...capacity of our distillery is 40 000 litters per 24 hours and we have another, old installation which is still working when needed and the total amount of produced ethyl alcohol can reach up to 80 000 l. per 24h. The technology of our new installation is produced by the German company SHMITT.

Our customers are all producers of alcoholic drink also cosmetics, petroleum and pharmaceutical companies on the territory of Bulgaria. We have long term relations with foreign producers of alcoholic beverages.

We can produce ethyl alcohol from molasses and grain (wheat and corn).The quality of the produced alcohol is in correspond to the European standards technical min.95%by vol.; EXTRA and LUX for the food industry min.96% by vol.; Absolute min. 99,5%. Read more
