United Arab Can is a manufacturer of aluminum beverage cans and ends based in Dammam on the Arabian Gulf Coast, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The business was established as a joint venture between four Saudi partners, three of whom are consumers of beverage cans, and Reynolds International Inc. who provided the technical expertise and support for the establishment of the manufacturing facility.In early 1997 the UAC plant was opened for business, capitalized at 90 million Riyals (more than 24 million). The plant has now grown its annual production capacity to be over 1.6 billion cans and 2.1 billion ends per year, with further expansion planned.In 2001 negotiations were finalized by the Saudi partners to buy out Reynolds, and as a result the shareholders in this operation are now purely ...Saudi Companies.
We aim to provide comprehensive, reliable and environmentally friendly packages for the beverage industry. Whilst working for the benefit of the environment and the customer UAC utilizes all resources available to improve the product whilst maintaining the balance.
UAC is committed to continual improvement of processes and the implementation of industry recognized quality management systems and certificates such as ISO9001:2000 and World Class Manufacturing.
Cans and Ends produced shall meet customer requirements including functional and performance characteristics at all stages of its manufacture. All products are manufactured in strict adherence to specifications in an organizational environment where prevention of defects is actively pursued.
Online Statistical Process Control (SPC) is used for the monitoring and control of process.
High quality production has received approval from such companies as: Coca Cola, Aujan Industries and many other large brands in the region. Due to extremely high requirements of quality and technical parameters, UAC only uses top class materials.
UAC production capability covers a can range from 150ml up to 355ml. All are suitable for packing non-alcoholic beer, carbonated beverages, juices and mineral ration in up to six colours is currently possible, but UAC is continually exploring developments with customers to improve the aesthetics of its product range.
Our offer comprises SOT or RPT ends in a range that covers diameters of 200, 202 and 206. They are all suitable for packing non-alcoholic beer, carbonated beverages, juices and mineral water. Read more
